We are Neighbourhood Brew Co, a small craft brewery based in south Manchester focusing on making new juicy IPA’s, pale ales & building a welcoming craft beer community.

We want to make beer that’s enjoyable to drink and savour. A lot of our pictures like this one of our Damn Good Lager was taken whilst adventuring. We like to get out in nature as much as possible, and of course enjoy a nice cold refreshing beer at the end! You’ll find a lot of our photography has been taken on stay-cays and walks in the UK.
We think beer can help make moments even more special, especially when shared with friends and loved ones.
As still a relatively new brewery on the scene, we get asked a lot what makes us different? Why did we start? What do we want to achieve?
What we’ve found is this changes as we develop and as time goes by. Neighbourhood Brew Co is owned and operated by Jake Astbury and Corinne Goode, a local couple from Cheadle.
Jake had been in the brewing industry working his way up for 5 or so years. In 2022 the opportunity was there to do it all for himself, make the beer he wants to make - and most importantly drink!
Craft beer had become his and Corinne’s passion and identity! Very much into going to tap rooms around the UK and trying new and exciting breweries - when the opportunity came to give it a go themselves, they grabbed it with both hands!
As we are now getting ourselves established and looking at who we want to be as a brewery, we know for certain that we want to be a part of this amazing, welcoming, craft beer community - to take part in festivals and events and build our own little following.
In time we want to create our own Neighbourhood, a brewery tap room - or a tap room in the hub of a community. We don’t know how long it’ll be until our long term dream becomes a reality, but please join us on our journey!
